Some may have noticed that the link to Birmingham OpenGuides has been disabled for sometime. After a haitus, which has involved Steve taking over the site and making efforts to reclaim all the data that was previously entered into the old site, Steve is nearing the status where the site will be relaunched.
However, before relaunching there are a few things that need to be sorted. While the templates and CSS are being sorted, Steve is looking for any other volunteers to help him. In particular he is looking for original photos of Birmingham and the surrounding area, which he can feature on the site. If you would like to help out, please contact me and I'll pass you details on. Or join the Birmingham.pm mailing list and announce yourself on the list.

We are one of the UK's largest Perl user groups, representing Birmingham UK to the international Perl community since 2000. We hold monthly social and technical presentations, and several of our members are now regular attendees and speakers at the YAPC::Europe Perl Conferences.
