As Birmingham Perl Mongers are a not-for-profit limited company, we now have to hold official meetings for members. The first such meeting is scheduled for 24th January 2007.
The meeting is a time when we hold elections for official posts and discuss with the membership our plans for the year ahead. An agenda has still to be announced, but expect more details to be forthcoming soon.
Please note we will be accepting new members at the meeting, if you wish to join us as an official member. You do not have to be a member to attend the meeting, but only members will be elligable to vote in elections and changes to terms, conditions, rules and bylaws of the group.
We are one of the UK's largest Perl user groups, representing Birmingham UK to the international Perl community since 2000. We hold monthly social and technical presentations, and several of our members are now regular attendees and speakers at the YAPC::Europe Perl Conferences.
